Kada Graduates
From before the day you were born, your Mother and I promised to love and protect you. This promise came with both tremendous joy and pain. When you laugh, we laugh, and when you cry our heart aches. We have had to make tough choices. We always wanted to encourage you to be a strong independent women, but at the same time, we want you to be loving and care for others.
We haven't always gotten it right, but it wasn't for a lack of trying...because we never forgot our promise. We must love and protect this little girl. It started with your first ultrasound, your Mom even bought a device so we could listen to your heart at home. I could still hear the sound of your heart as it would beat on the monitor, and just a few weeks ago Mom purchased three different prom dresses. We always joked...as soon as she turns 18, Kada is out of here. The truth is you will always have a home. Your Mom and Dad will always be there for you no matter how far you travel.
So as we get ready to send you off to College and build a life of your own, please know, that no matter how old you get that there is no one in this World who will fight harder for you. You will always be our baby girl. You will always be my princess. Congratulations Kadance Renee. We love you!
