Peace on Earth

There's a moment I'm searching for that's not so easy to find. It's right here in front of me, but I just can't seem to grab it. That moment is absolute peace. The peace you find when you can close your eyes and fall asleep without worry or concern.

There is no worry to keep you up at night and no alarm to wake you up in the morning. You drift off to sleep without a care in the world. You've been fed and feel secure. The love of family is all around you. You still feel joy from a day of laughter. Your world is content and you feel free...you are finally at peace.

This Christmas, I would like to share my wish for Peace on Earth. My wish is for my family and friends to feel the true joy of the Holiday. Enjoy good food and company and look for that peaceful moment. The realist in me understands that absolute peace is not completely possible. However, my hope is for all of us to get that one moment where we can sit back and close our eyes and smile because we know we had a good day. Happy Holidays.
